If you are wearing an ill fitted or poorly supported shoe, your power efforts and comfort are compromised. Foot stability, power transfer, injury prevention and foot pain relief are just some of the benefits from a properly assessed and corrected foot -pedal interface.
I would also recommend a supporting foot bed, specific to your unique foot biomechanics. A moulded or adjustable foot bed will spread the load of your pedalling action, supporting your arch just enough to activate the natural foot mechanism.
