Your Coaching Investment

Coaching will identify the reasons why your past or present cycling gains are marginal. Whether you are new to cycling or prepping for race season. Fit Studio will provide safe, effective solutions to aid your objectives, with strict coaching analysis and testing procedures on the bike, and more importantly, in most cases, off the bike intervention.

Anatomical Assessment

Pre Assessment

(a) Starting with an interview, covering your present health and fitness, past injuries, cycling experience, short to long-term goals, commitments, lifestyle demands and what you expect from your coaching.

(b) An anatomical assessment to help identify any limiting factors that may determine your programme prescription, including flexibility, muscle limitations, symmetry, mobility range, and posture.

Comp & FTP

(a) A recording of your weight, height, blood pressure, resting heart rate and waist to hip ratio.

(b) A bio impedance (body composition) measurement will assess your present fat weight, lean weight, hydration, resting and active metabolic function.

​

(c) Next, dynamic measurements are taken to determine your FTP (functional threshold power), perceived exertion, heart, and power training zones.

Coaching

With the above data gathered and analysed, a comprehensive coaching system is put in place safely within the limitation of your assessment.

​

You will be given specific nutritional habits to promote better body composition. Strength and flexibility exercise to better your present range and cycling specific drills within your recommended training zones to promote your FTP score.

​

In addition, two monthly personal training sessions to work on your limiting factors previously identified at your monthly assessment.

Support

Access all your results, programmes and documents within your Personal Wellness online Portal and App. Use the app to develop accountability. Check in with daily nutritional habits and programme completion. Record your strength and conditioning results, cycling training zones and later review consistency and progress graphs.

Every entry to your app or portal is flagged straight to me for inspection and feedback if needed, and a monthly assessment of your body composition will confirm your commitments to change. A bimonthly physical assessment and FTP will support your development and any programme progression.
